Fiestas Fridas 2024- Film Screening July 13

San Francisco was a special place for Frida Kahlo, the iconic Mexican painter that continues to inspire creative people around the world. Fiestas Fridas celebrates that link with an annual festival and special events. This year’s event coincides with Frida’s passing 70 years ago on July 13, 1954. In addition to the open-air screening of the first documentary made by San Francisco filmmakers David and Karen Crommie back in 1966, there will be food, drinks, and face painting for kids of all ages.
