In the Summers is an American drama film about two sisters, Eva and Violeta, who visit their father Vicente in Las Cruces, New Mexico every summer. The film follows the sisters as they navigate their father’s loving but volatile nature over four summers, and how their relationship changes over time. The film is loosely based on writer and director Alessandra Lacorazza Samudio’s own childhood.

“Fallen Fruit”
